Sankesh Abbhi - CEO Sitero

Sankesh is the CEO and founder of Sitero and is responsible for the strategy, direction and overall management of the organization. Sankesh was previously the CEO and President of ArisGlobal, which he successfully sold to Nordic Capital in 2019 and currently is a member of the Board of Directors. Prior to ArisGlobal, Sankesh founded and ran Synowledge, which he successfully grew and sold to BioClinica in 2015. Sankesh is based in Miami, FL and manages the day to day operations of Sitero LLC.

As President, David heads Sitero’s daily operations and is responsible for achieving the company’s short and long-term goals and objectives. Prior to joining the Sitero team, David played various leadership roles in the Pharmaceutical and Life Sciences technology space, most recently as the SVP, Global Professional Services at ArisGlobal where he was a member of the Executive Team and played a key role in the successful acquisition by Nordic Capital.

Ashok heads Sitero’s technology offerings and global IT teams. Ashok is a proven Life Sciences and Technology executive with a long track record of building market leading software and playing an integral role in the successful growth of businesses. Ashok worked for more than 25 years at ArisGlobal and most recently held the COO / CTO and President of APAC positions, in which he led the operations and delivery through the successful acquisition of ArisGlobal by Nordic Capital. Ashok was also the COO of Synowledge and helped drive the rapid growth that led to the acquisition by Bioclinica in 2015. Ashok is based in Bangalore, India.

As Vice President of Service Delivery of Sitero’s Mentor eClinical Technology, Dr. John oversees professional and managed services for our eClinical products, as well as our Clinical Data Management and Biostatistics offerings. Dr. John is a senior clinical research leader with over 20 years of global leadership experience. She has worked with a wide array of global pharma companies, CROs, and FSPs and has been involved in building up and managing multiple clinical domain teams. She is passionate about clinical data management and its evolution and has presented/chaired sessions in multiple industry forums such as DIA and SCDM. Prior to working at Sitero, Dr. John worked with Clario, Bioclinica, and Accenture in leading large global teams delivering clinical services.

As the Director of Clinical Operations at Sitero, Takoda Roland plays a pivotal role in advancing Sitero’s goals to revolutionize healthcare through technology enabled solutions and patient-centric approaches. Takoda brings over a decade of experience in clinical research operations. With a strong focus on leveraging the latest technologies, Takoda has consistently excelled in streamlining clinical trials, standardizing data collection, and enhancing patient safety throughout his career. Takoda has been recognized as a published author in publications for SOCRA and ACRP and has delivered presentations at industry events such as Marcus Evans and DIA. His invaluable insights have also led him to provide consulting services to multiple clinical research start-ups, bolstering their success and driving innovation within the sector.

Anand Rao - Head of Marketing

Anand is Head of Global Marketing at Sitero, where he leads marketing strategy and positioning. He brings extensive experience in life sciences and clinical research technology, with prior leadership roles at DNAnexus and TetraScience supporting pharmaceutical R&D and precision medicine initiatives. Anand began his career as a molecular neuroscientist before transitioning into strategic marketing for the life sciences industry.

David Fineberg - Medical Director

Dr. David Fineberg has more than 20 years of experience in clinical drug development, with deep expertise in neurology and neuropsychology. A seasoned Drug Safety and Pharmacovigilance physician, he has overseen case processing, medical review, and safety operations, working closely with investigators and clinical teams to ensure high-quality outcomes. Over his career, Dr. Fineberg has chaired Data Safety Monitoring Boards (DSMBs) across five therapeutic areas and served as Chief Medical Officer for early-stage biotech companies, guiding both scientific and strategic development through seed and Series A stages. He has collaborated with several divisions of the U.S. FDA—including Neurology, and the NIH’s National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA)—to advance regulatory and clinical initiatives. He is also the inventor of a patent-pending interoceptive sensory-mapping technology aimed at improving neuroplasticity and addressing mood and emotional regulation disorders. His current work combines neurobehavioral science, digital health innovation, and interoception research to advance precision therapeutics that support emotional wellness and recovery.

With over 17 years of experience, he is a highly accomplished finance professional skilled in financial analysis, strategic planning, cost control, and risk management. Arun has a proven track record of delivering financial insights that drive organizational growth, profitability, and operational efficiency across various industries. Before joining Sitero, he held finance leadership positions at several prominent companies, including Emids, ArisGlobal, CSC, and Oracle.

As VP, Engineering & Product Development, eClinical Engineering and Product Development at Sitero, Matt Lemus is a technology and engineering executive with more than 25 years of experience leading global teams, modernizing enterprise platforms, and delivering complex technology initiatives. His expertise spans software engineering, product development, cloud architecture, AI-enabled development, DevOps, cybersecurity, and enterprise infrastructure. Matt has held leadership roles across healthcare technology, financial services, media, and entertainment, including MUFG, Disney, Marvel Studios, the NFL, Sony Pictures, and Warner Bros. He focuses on building high-performing teams, driving innovation, improving operational efficiency, and aligning engineering strategy with business growth.
