Sitero Announces Expanded Leadership Team

Sitero has expanded its leadership team to support the expected rapid growth of its business

Miami, FL — September 26th, 2022 — Sitero announced today a series of appointments to form an expanded leadership team that will support the expected rapid growth of Sitero’s services and software solutions over the coming months. Sitero has recently launched it’s Clinical, Drug Safety, IRB and IBC services to provide technology enabled solutions to address the current inefficiencies across the clinical ecosystem. Sitero aims to eliminate the burden that exists between clinical sites, sponsors and clinical research organizations with a focus on improving the patients’ safety, experience and outcomes throughout the clinical lifecycle. The new leadership team will reinforce Sitero’s continued investment in expanding its offerings and ensuring its customers’ needs are met while ensuring the safety and protection of the clinical research community, with an emphasis on ethics, compliance and innovation.

The newly expanded leadership under Sankesh Abbhi (CEO) consists of a global team that brings decades of expertise across the clinical services and software industry:

Sankesh Abbhi, Chief Executive Officer of Sitero
Sankesh is the founder and CEO of Sitero and is responsible for the strategy, direction and overall management of the company. Sankesh was previously the CEO and President of ArisGlobal, which he successfully sold to Nordic Capital in 2019 and currently is a member of the Board of Directors. Prior to ArisGlobal, Sankesh founded and ran Synowledge, which he successfully grew and sold to BioClinica in 2015.

David Ingraham, President of Sitero

As President, David heads Sitero’s daily operations and is responsible for achieving the company’s short and long-term goals and objectives. Before joining the Sitero team, David played various leadership roles in the Pharmaceutical and Life Sciences services and technology space, most recently as SVP, Global Professional Services as ArisGlobal where he was a member of the Executive Team and played a key role in the successful acquisition by Nordic Capital. Previously, David held various leadership roles during the growth phases of Synowledge and through the successful acquisition of BioClinica.

Ashok Katti, CTO and President of APAC
Ashok heads Sitero’s technology offerings and global IT teams. Ashok is a proven Life Sciences and Technology executive with a long track record of building market-leading software and playing an integral role in the successful growth of businesses. Ashok worked for more than 25 years at ArisGlobal and most recently held the COO / CTO and President of APAC positions, in which he led the operations and delivery through the successful acquisition of ArisGlobal by Nordic Capital. Ashok was also the COO of Synowledge and helped drive the rapid growth that led to the acquisition by Bioclinica in 2015. Ashok is based in Bangalore, India.

Colleen LoConte, SVP – Global Delivery and Customer Success
As SVP – Global Delivery and Customer Success, Colleen is responsible for the successful delivery of the Sitero portfolio of technologies and services. With her extensive background in the Pharmaceutical and Life Sciences Industry, she is a key contributor to our customer loyalty and satisfaction. Prior to joining Sitero, Colleen held key leadership positions in BioClinica, WCG, and Clarivate Analytics delivering pharmacovigilance, Clinical, IRB and Real World Data solutions to the industry. Colleen resides in New Jersey.

Parker Nolen, VP – IRB Services and Consulting
Dr. Nolen’s career in research compliance has spanned major academic institutions, regional healthcare systems, commercial IRBs, and private physician-initiated research programs throughout North America. He has also worked with the Air Force Surgeon General’s Office and the Office of the Undersecretary of Defense (Research and Engineering) where he supported the operation and oversight of both the Air Force Medical Readiness Agency and the global oversight of the DoD’s Human Research Protection Programs (HRPP). Dr. Nolen has been instrumental in the strategic realignment of several HRPP Compliance Programs and is considered a pioneer in the use of Artificial Intelligence in IRB operations.

Sarah Ziegler, VP – Biosafety and IBC Services
Dr. Ziegler is responsible for leading the Biosafety and IBC services at Sitero. Sarah was previously the Deputy Director of the National Bio and Agro-Defense Facility (NBAF) with the USDA where she supervised Page 2 laboratory operations and Biorisk management. Sarah is an ABSA-certified biosafety professional and is passionate about ensuring the safety of workers and the community during biomedical research. She has previously served as an IBC chair, Biosafety Officer and Responsible Official for multiple research institutions. She has also consulted on projects as an SME for Select Agents, Biorisk Management, facility design, and Laboratory Operations. Sarah received her Ph.D. from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Biomedical Science and was a Post-doctoral Fellow in the National Biosafety and Biocontainment Training Program (NBBTP).

Zina Khader, Director of Business Development
Zina Khader heads Sitero’s Business Development team and is an infectious disease Epidemiologist. Zina has experience in the areas of scientific research and business development in both private and government sectors. Her previous experience includes the CDC’s emergency response office during Ebola, Polio, Zika, and COVID-19; Opioid trial design in Pain Management settings; Healthcare Management; Decentralized clinical trials, and R&D in alternative therapies to reduce Opioid addiction. Zina earned her Master’s in Public Health at Mercer University School of Medicine in Atlanta, Ga.
